Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

Small amount of 4 Ply Yarn – Red – White - Blue

¼" Elastic – 4" long – sewn into a circle

Gown

Staring at upper edge – with Blue yarn – ch 22 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R3 – ch 2. (22) sts

R4: Working over an elastic circle – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R5: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R6: * 2 Dcs in the next st – dc in the next st * - repeat around – join – ch 3. (33) sts

R7-R8: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R9: Repeat R5. (49) sts

R10-R12: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R13: Repeat R5. (73) sts

R14-R16: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R16 – finish off blue yarn.

R1: Join Blue yarn to upper center back st – ch 2 – sc in next 2 sts – ch 8 – skipping next 5 sts – sc in next 6 sts – ch 8 – skipping next 5 sts – sc in last 3 sts – join – ch3.

R2: * Dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next st * - repeat around – join – finish off blue yarn. (19) sts

R1: Join Blue yarn to center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (13) sts

R2-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R3 – ch 2.

R4: * Sc the next [2] sts together – sc in the next st * - repeat around – join – ch 3. (9) sts

R5: Dc in the same space – 2 dcs in @ st around - join - finish off blue yarn. (18) sts

Repeat for 2^nd sleeve.

Shawl

With White yarn – ch 30 – turn – sc in the 2nd ch from hook.

R1: {Wrong side of work} – sc in the next 2 sts – hdc in the next 3 sts – dc in the next 3 sts – 2 trs in @ of the next 12 sts – dc in the next 3 sts – hdc in the next 3 sts – sc in the remaining 3 sts – turn – ch 1.

R2: {Right side of work} – Sl st through the next 2 sts – sc in the next 5 sts – 2 scs in the next st – sc in the next st – 2 scs in the next st – hdc in the next st – 2 hdcs in the next st – hdc in the next st – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next st – 2 dcs in the next st – [tr in the next st – 2 trs in the next st ] 3 times total – dc in the next st – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next st – 2 hdcs in the next st – hdc in the next st – 2 hdcs in the next st – sc in the next st – 2 scs in the next st – sc in the next 7 sts – sl st through the remaining 3 sts – finish off white yarn.

Apron

With White yarn – starting at side – ch 16 – turn – dc in the 4^th ch for hook.

R1: Dc in the next 10 sts – hdc in the next st – sc in the last st – turn – ch 1. (14) sts

R2: Working in front loops only – hdc in the next st – dc in the remaining 12 sts – turn – ch 3.

R3-R8: Repeat R2-R3. End of R8 – finish off white yarn.

R9: Inner Trim – With front of work facing - join Red yarn with a ch 2 to upper side edge – sc in the next 10 sts – 3 scs in corner st – sc 17 sts evenly spaced across lower edge – 3 scs in corner st – sc in remaining 13 side sts – finish off red yarn.

R10: Outer Trim - Join White yarn to the 1^st side st with a ch 2 - * [sc - ch 2 - sc] in the next st - sc in the next st * - repeat around - join with a sl st to last side st on the opposite side - finish off white yarn.

Ties / Waistband

With White yarn – ch 20 – join to first st of the upper edge of apron with a sc – sc in @ st across – ch 20 – finish off white yarn.

Cap

With White yarn - starting at crown - ch 3 - join to form a circle - ch 3.

R1: Work 14 scs in the center of circle - join - ch 3. (15) sts

R2: Dc in the next st - * 2 dcs in the next st - dc in the next 2 sts * - repeat around - join - ch 3. (20) sts

R3; * 2 Dcs in the next st - dc in the next 2 sts * - repeat around - join - ch 2. (27) sts

R4: Trim - * [sc - ch 2 - sc] in the next st - sc in the next st * - repeat around - join - finish off white yarn. (14) loops

Hat Tie

With Red yarn - ch 35 - finish off red yarn.

Weave tie end through sts - between R3-R4.

Draw up to gather loosely - tie into bow. Trim ends.
