Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

Small amount of 4 Ply Yarn – White - Lime

41/2" - 1/4" Elastic - Sewed into a circle.

Top- Starting at lower center back edge - with Lime yarn - ch 22 - join to form a circle - ch 2.

R1: Hdc in @ st around - join to top of beginning ch - ch 3. (22) sts

R2: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3.

R3: Dc in the next 3 sts - ch 1 - skipping the next 4 sts - dc in the next 6 sts - ch 1 - skipping the next 4 sts - dc in remaining 4 sts - join - ch 2. (16) sts

R4: Hdc in @ st around - join to top of beginning ch - ch 2.

R5: Sc in the next 3 sts - sc the next [2] sts together - sc in the next 4 sts - sc the next [2] st together - sc in the remaining 4 sts - join - finish off lime yarn. (14) sts

R6: Skirt - Join Lime yarn to lower edge of Top with a ch 5 - dtr in the next 2 sts [dtr = 3 wraps] - ch 8 - skipping the next 8 sts - dtr in the next 3 sts - ch 8 - skipping the next 8 sts - join - drop lime yarn. (22) sts

R7: Join White yarn - to the center back st with a ch 2 - working over an elastic circle at the same time - sc in @ st around - join - finish off white yarn.

R8: Pick up Lime yarn - join to center back st with a ch 3 - * 2 dcs in the next st - dc in the 4 sts * - repeat around - join - ch 3. (27) sts

R9-R10: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. End of R10 - finish off lime yarn.

Sleeves

R1: Join Lime yarn to center underarm st – ch 3 – dc in the next st - 2 dcs in the dc of R3 - tr in ch - 2 dcs in 2^nd dc of R3 - dc in remaining 2 sts – join – ch 3. (9) sts

R2: Repeat dc in dc - tr in tr of R1 - join - ch 3.

R3-R6: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. End of R6 - finish off lime yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd sleeve.

Cap

Starting at crown - with White yarn - ch 3 - join to form a circle - ch 2.

R1: Work 9 scs in the center of circle - join - ch 3. (10) sts

R2: Dc in same space - 2 dcs in @ st around - join - ch 3. (20) sts

R3: Dc in @ st around - join - drop white yarn.

R4: Working in back loops only - join Lime yarn with a ch 2 - hdc in @ st around - join - finish off lime yarn.

R5: Bill - Pick up White yarn - ch 1 - working in front loops only - sl st through the next 6 sts - sc in the next st - hdc in the next st - dc in the next st - 2 dcs in the next st - dc in the next st - hdc in the next st - sc in the next st - sl st through the remaining 6 sts - join - finish off white yarn. (21) sts
