Ladies Police Uniform

Materials Needed:

Size 00 Crochet Hook

Small amount of 4 Ply Yarn – Dark Navy – Delft Blue - Silver

4" – ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle.

Shirt

With Delft Blue yarn – starting at the lower edge – ch 24 – loosely – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (24) sts

R4: Dc in the next 3 sts – ch 5 – skipping the next 4 sts – dc in the next 8 sts – ch 5 – skipping the next 4 sts – dc in the remaining 4 sts – do not join – turn – ch 2. (26) sts

R5-R6: * Dc in the next st – dc the next [2] sts together * - repeat across to last st – hdc in the remaining st – turn – ch 2. (18) (13) sts

R7: Collar – Dc in the same space – dc in the next 11 sts – [dc – ch 3] in the remaining st – join with a sl st into same space – finish off delft blue yarn. (15) sts

R8: Lower Band – Join Delft Blue yarn to the lower center back st with a ch 2 – sc in @ st around – join – finish off delft blue yarn. (24) sts

Sleeves

R1: Join Delft Blue yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (11) sts

R2: Dc in @ st around – join – finish off delft blue yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Shoulder Bands

With Dk Navy yarn – leaving a 2" thread – ch 6 – finish off navy yarn – leaving a 2" thread. Laying ch across center shoulder sts – draw 2" threads through to wrong side of work – secure – trim yarn ends.

Repeat for 2^nd shoulder.

Pocket Trim

With Dk Navy yarn – leaving a 2" thread – ch 4 – finish off navy yarn – leaving a 2" thread. Laying ch across the joining of R3-R4 of Shirt front – on top of sts 2 & 3 on either side of center front joining – draw 2" threads through to wrong side of work – secure – trim yarn ends.

Repeat for 2^nd Pocket Trim – opposite front side.

Badge

With Silver yarn – leaving a 2" thread – ch 3 – join to form a circle – finish off silver thread – leaving a 2" thread. Draw 2" threads through to wrong side - on the left side of R4 of Shirtfront – centered directly over Pocket Trim – secure – trim yarn ends.

Pants

With Dk Navy yarn – ch2 – working over an elastic circle at the same time – 25 scs – join – ch 3. (26) sts

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R4: Dc in the next 12 sts – join to the beginning ch [1^st Leg formed] – ch 3. (13) sts

R5-R12: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R12 – finish off navy yarn.

[2^nd Leg] – Join Dk Navy yarn to the 1^st unused st of R4 with a ch 3 – dc in the remaining 12 sts – join – ch 3.

Repeat R5-R12.
