Short Sleeve sweater

Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Aran - Rust

5" – ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle.

Shirt

With Aran yarn - starting at the upper edge – ch 24 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (24) sts

R4: * Dc in the next 2 sts – dc the next [2] sts together * - repeat around – join - ch 2. (20) sts

R5: Working in the back loops only - sc in @ st around – finish off yarn.

Strap

R1: Join Black yarn to the upper center back st with a ch 3 – dc in the next 3 sts – ch 7 – skipping the next 4 sts – dc in the next 8 sts – ch 7 – skipping the next 4 sts – dc in the remaining 4 sts – join – ch 2.

R2: * Dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next st * - repeat around - join – finish off aran yarn. (20) sts

Sleeve

R1: Join Aran yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in the next st – dc in the center of dc of Strap R1 – dc in the next 7 sts – dc in the center of dc of Strap R1 – dc in the remaining 2 sts – join – ch 3. (13) sts

R2: Dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 8 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – join – ch 2. (11) sts

R3: Working in the back loops only - sc in @ st around – join – finish off yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Pants

With Rust yarn – ch 2 – working over an elastic circle at the same time – 25 scs – join – ch 3. (26) sts

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (26) sts

R4: Dc in the next 12 sts – skipping the remaining 13 sts – join to the beginning ch [1^st Leg formed] - ch 3. (13) sts

R5-R12: Dc in @ st around – join – finish off yarn.

2^nd Leg

Join Rust yarn to the first unused st of R4 with a ch 3 – dc in @ unused st around – join – ch 3. (13) sts

Repeat R5-R15.
