Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Aran Fleck – Gray Heather

5" – ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle.

Jacket

Starting at the upper edge – with Aran Fleck yarn – ch 17 – turn – dc in the 4^th ch from hook.

R1: * 2 Dcs in the next st – dc in the next st * - repeat across – turn – ch 3. (22) sts

R2: Dc in the same space - * dc in the next st – 2 dcs in the next st * repeat across - turn – ch 3. (32) sts

R3: Dc in the next 4 sts – ch 4 – skipping the next 7 sts – dc in the next 9 sts – ch 4 – skipping the next 7 sts – dc in the remaining 5 sts – turn – ch 3. (27) sts

R4-R7: Dc in @ st across – turn – ch 3. End of R7 – ch 2. (27) sts

R8: Edging – Work 2 scs in the same space – turn – * working up front edge – 2 scs in @ row edge st (14) * – turn – work sc in @ neck edge sts (14) – turn – repeat * --- * once more – 3 scs in the corner st – turn – sc in @ lower edge st (25) – join – finish off aran yarn.

Sleeves

R1: Join Gray Heather yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in the next st – dc in the center of R5 dc – dc in the next 7 sts – dc in the center of R5 dc – dc in the remaining 2 sts – join – ch 3. (13) sts

R2-R5: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R5 – ch 2.

R6: Working in the back loops only – sc in @ st around – join – finish off gray yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Hat

With Gray Heather yarn – ch 3 – join to form a circle – ch 2.

R1: Work 8 scs in the center of circle – join – ch 3. (9) sts

R2: Dc in the same space – 2 dcs in @ st around – join – ch 2. (18) sts

R3: Working in the back loops only – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R4: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R5: Working in the front loops only - * 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next st * - repeat around – join – finish off gray yarn. (27) sts
