Snow White Costume

Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

Small amount of 4 Ply Yarn – Red – Yellow – Blue – Light Blue - White - Paddy Green

¼" Elastic – 4" long – sewn into a circle.

Small Plastic Apple - or - See directions below.

Small Amount of Fiber Fill.

Dress

Starting at the upper edge of dress - with Blue - ch 22 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R 3 – finish off. (22) sts

R4: Join Yellow yarn to lower center back st with a ch 2 – working over elastic circle at the same time – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R5: * Dc in next 2 sts – 2 dcs in next st * - repeat around – join – ch 3. (28) sts

R6-R16: Dc in @ st around – join – ch3. End of R16 – finish off.

Strap

Join Blue yarn to the upper back center st with a ch 2 – sc in the next 2 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the next 6 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the remaining 3 sts – finish off.

Collar

Join White yarn to the first ch of the right sleeve strap with a ch 2 – sc in @ chs across the sleeve part of strap - across back sts - across @ chs of second sleeve part of strap – turn – ch 2. (22) sts

R2: Hdc in next 2 sts – dc in next 16 sts – hdc in next 2 sts – sc in remaining st – finish off.

Sleeves

Join Lt Blue yarn to center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in @ st around armhole – join – ch 2. (15) sts

R2: * Dc next [2] sts together – dc in next st * - repeat around – join – finish off. (10) sts

With two strands of Red yarn, weave through R2 of sleeve.

Repeat with reverse shaping for second sleeve.

Apple

With Red yarn - ch 3 - join to form a circle - ch 2.

R1: 5 Scs in the center of circle - join - ch 2. (6) sts

R2-R3: * 2 Dcs in the next st - sc in the next st * - repeat around - join - ch 2. (9)(13) sts

R4: Sc in @ st around - join - ch 2.

R5: * Sc the next [2] sts together * - repeat around - join - finish off red yarn. (7) sts

Stuff Apple with small amount of Fiber Fill.

R6: Leaf - Join Green Paddy Green yarn to the top of Apple in any st with a ch 1 - * sc the next [2] sts together * - repeat around - join - ch 5.
