Evening Gown w/ Detachable Collar

Materials Needed:

Size 00 Crochet Hook

2oz. 4 Ply Yarn – Warm Brown - [Barnet] Golden White (Novelty)

Gown

With Wm Brown yarn - starting at upper edge – ch 22 – join to form a circle - ch 3.

R1-R16: Dc in @ st around – join - ch 3. End of R16 - finish off brown yarn. (22 dc)

Straps

R1: Join Wm Brown yarn to upper center back st with a ch 3 - dc in the next 3 sts - ch 5 - skipping the next 3 sts - dc in the next 8 sts - ch 5 - skipping the next 3 sts - dc in the remaining 4 sts - join - ch 3. (26) sts

R2: * Dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next st * - repeat around to the last 2 sts - dc the next [2] sts together - join - finish off brown yarn. (17) sts

Sleeves

R1: Join Wm Brown yarn to center underarm st with a ch 3 - dc in the next st - dc in the center of dc of Strap R1 - dc in the next 5 sts - dc in the center of the 2^nd dc of Strap R1 - dc in remaining st - join - ch 3. (10) sts

R2-R3: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. End of R3 - finish off brown yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Detachable Collar

R1: With Novelty yarn [Golden White] - ch 6 - turn - holding the last loop of @ st on hook - 2 trs in beginning ch - wrap yarn around hook - work off all loops together - ch 5 - turn. (3) sts

R2-R9: Holding last loop of @ st on hook - 2 trs in beginning ch - wrap yarn around hook - work off all loops together - ch 5 - turn. End of R9 - finish off yarn. Weave in all yarn ends and trim.

String Beads onto matching sewing thread with a needle. Attach to front of Collar - working through joining sts between R1-R2 and R8-R9 - fasten securely - trim all thread ends.
