White Trimmed Dress and Bag

Materials Needed:

Size 00 Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Red – White

4" – ¼" piece of elastic – sewn into a circle

Dress

With Red yarn – ch 22 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R3 – ch 2. (22) sts

R4: Working over an elastic circle – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R5-R9: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R9 – finish off red yarn.

R10: Join White yarn to the lower center back st – ch 2 – sc in @ st around – join – finish off white yarn. (22) sts

Strap

With White yarn – join to the upper center back st – ch 2 – sc in the next 2 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the next 6 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the remaining 3 sts – join – finish off white yarn.

Sleeves

R1: Join Red yarn to center underarm st – ch 3 – dc in @ st around – join – finish off. (13 dc)

R2: Dc the next 2 sts together – dc in @ remaining st around – join – finish off red yarn. (12) sts

R3: Join White yarn to center underarm st – ch 2 – sc the next 2 sts together - sc in @ remaining st around – join – finish off white yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd sleeve.

White Trim

Join White yarn to the 1^st unused loop of sleeve ch with a ch 1 – [either side] – sl st through @ unused loop of sleeve chs – sl st around bars of @ sc of dress front / back – repeat across 2^nd sleeve chs – front/back bars – join – finish off white yarn.

Bag

With Red yarn – ch 4 – turn – dc in the 4^th ch from hook.

R1: Work 7 dcs in same space – join – finish off red yarn. (8) sts

R2: Join White yarn to any st with a ch 2 – sc in @ st around – join – (8) sts –

R3: Handle – ch 6 – join to opposite side of bag with a sl st - finish off white yarn.
