Materials Needed:

Size 00 Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Light Periwinkle – Amethyst – Red – Bright Yellow – Spring Green - Royal

4" of ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle

Dress

Starting at upper edge - with Lt Periwinkle yarn- ch 22 – join to for circle – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R3 – ch 2. (22 dc)

R4: Working over an elastic circle – dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R5: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R6-R7: * 2 dcs between the next st – dc between the next 3 sts * - repeat around join – ch 3. End of R7 – finish off lt periwinkle yarn. (28 dc) (35 dc)

R8: Join Amethyst yarn to lower center back st – ch 2 – sc in @ st around – join – finish off amethyst yarn.

R9: Join Red yarn – repeat R8 – join – finish off red yarn.

R10: Join Bright Yellow yarn – repeat R8 – join – finish off br yellow yarn.

R11: Join Spring Green yarn – repeat R8 – join – finish off sp green yarn.

R12: Join Royal yarn – repeat R8 – join – finish off royal yarn.

R13: Lower ruffle – join Lt Periwinkle yarn to lower center back st – ch 4 - * sc in next st – ch 3 * - repeat around – join – finish off royal yarn.

Upper dress ruffle – join Lt Periwinkle yarn to upper center back st – ch 3 - * sc in next st – ch 2* - repeat around – join – finish off.

Rainbow Hairband

With Lt Periwinkle yarn – ch 30 – join to form a circle – ch 4.

R1: Tr in @ ch around – join – finish off.

Cut one thread of @ rainbow color yarn – 18" long – weave through trs of R1 – center thread – and leaving enough slack for hair band to stretch – tie threads – trim ends to desired length.
