Backless Top / Straight Skirt / Hat

Materials Needed:

Size 00 Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – White Fleck - Red

4" of ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle

Straight Skirt

With white fleck- working over an elastic circle – ch 2 – 25 scs – join – ch3. (26 sc)

R1-R7: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R7 – finish off.

Backless Top

With red – ch 22 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R4: Dc in @ st across – turn – ch 3. End of R4 – finish off. (22 dc)

Neck tie:

R1: Join the yarn to the 8th st from the upper center back st with a ch 3 - dc in the next 6 sts. (7) sts.

Now turn and work back across the 7 sts as follows ...

R2: Sl st into the next st - ch 3 - hdc in the next st - sc in the center st - hdc in the next st - dc in the next st -ch 15 (first tie) - finish off yarn.

Join yarn to the top of the first st - opposite side of R2 - ch 15 (second tie) - finish off yarn.

Rolled Brim Hat

With red – ch 4 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1: 11 dcs in circle – join – ch 2. (12 dc)

R2: Working in between dcs – 2 scs in @ st around – join – drop red yarn. (24 sc)

R3: Join white fleck – ch 2 – working in back loops only – sc in @ st around – join – drop white fleck.

R4: Pick up red yarn – ch 3 - dc in @ st around – join – drop red.

R5: Pick up white fleck – ch 2 - sc in @ st around – join – drop white fleck.

R6: Pick up red yarn – ch 3 – dc in next st * 2 dcs in next st – dc in next 2 sts * repeat around – join – finish off red yarn. (36 dc)

R7: Pick up white fleck yarn – with inside of hat facing – sl st into the top of @ dc around – join – finish off.
