Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

2 oz. 4 Ply Yarn – [Kids] Sherbet - Lavender

4" of ¼" elastic – sewn into a circle.

Test Gauge: 4 Rows = 2" / 8 Stitches = 2"

Dress

With Sherbet yarn - starting at upper edge – ch 22 – join to form a circle.

R1: Dc in @ st around – join - ch 3. (22 dc)

R2-R3: Dc in the next 11 sts - wrap yarn around hook 2 times - insert hook through front loops of dc of previous row - draw up a loop - work loops off hook the same as for a tr (Long St made) - working in the back loops only - dc in the remaining 9 sts - join - ch 3. End of R3 - drop variegated yarn.

R4: Join Lavender yarn to lower center back st with a ch 2 - working over an elastic circle – sc in @ st around – join – finish off lavender yarn.

R5: Pick up Sherbet yarn - ch 3 - dc in the same space - 2 dcs in @ st - repeat around – join – ch 3. (44) sts

R6-R9: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. End of R9 - ch 4.

R10: * Skipping the next st - sc - ch 3 in the next st * - repeat around - j in - finish off variegated yarn.

Strap - Join Sherbet yarn to upper center back st with a ch 3 - dc in the next 2 sts - ch 5 - skipping the next 5 sts - dc in the next st - hdc in the next st - finish off variegated yarn. Join Sherbet yarn to front loops of long st in row below with a ch 4 - hdc in the next 2 sts - dc in the next st - ch 5 - skipping the next 5 sts - dc in the remaining 3 sts - join - finish off variegated yarn.

Sleeves

R1: Join Sherbet yarn to center underarm st with a ch 3 - dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. (12) sts

R2: Dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next 5 sts - dc the next [2] sts together - dc in remaining 2 sts - join - ch 3. (10) sts

R3: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3.

R4: Dc the next 2 sts together - dc in @ st around - join - finish off variegated yarn. (9) sts

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Buttons - With Lavender yarn - cut a 10" thread - folding in half - using 2 strands through out - working to the left of long st of R3 - tie strands around the next dc - weave strands around @ dc just left of @ long sts of R2-R1 - finish off strands. Weave in and trim all yarn ends.

Bag

[Make 2]

With Lavender yarn - ch 3 - join to form a circle - ch 3.

R1: Work 2 dcs - ch 1 in the center of circle - * 3 dcs - ch 1 * in center of circle - repeat 3 times total - join. (12) dc - ch

R2: Sl st into the next st - ch 3 - * skipping all dcs - of previous row - work [2scs - ch 1 - 2 scs] in the next ch 1 space (1^st corner made) - ch 1 - sc in the center dc of previous row - ch 1 * - repeat around - join - finish off lavender yarn. (20) sc - ch
