Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

Small amount of 4 Ply Yarn – Soft White - [Caron] Natural Tones

¼" Elastic - 4" long - sewn into a circle

Dress

Starting at upper edge - with Natural Tones yarn – ch 22 – join to form a circle - ch 3.

R1-R2: Dc in @ st across – join - ch 3. (22) sts

R3: Working over an elastic circle at the same time – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R4: Dc in the same space - 2 dcs in @ st around - join - ch 3. (44) sts

R5-R7: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R8: * 2 dcs in the next st - dc in the next st * - repeat around - join - ch 3. (66) sts

R9: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R10: Working in back loops only - * sc - ch 2 * - repeat in @ st around - join - finish off tones yarn.

Straps

R1: Join Natural Tones yarn to the 12^th st from upper center back st with a ch 3 - dc in the same space - dc in the remaining 21 sts - ch 3 - join with a sl st into same space as last dc - finish off tones yarn. (24) sts

R2: Join Natural Tones yarn to the beginning ch of previous row with a ch 2 - dc the next [3] sts together - ch 5 - skipping the next 5 sts - dc in the next 6 sts - ch 5 - skipping the next 5 sts - dc the next [3] sts together - ch 2 - join with a sl st into ending ch of previous row - finish off tones yarn. (18) sts

Sleeves

R1: Join Natural Tones yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 2 - sc in the next 2 sts - hdc in the center of dc of Strap R2 - dc in the next 5 chs - hdc in the center of the dc of Strap R2 - sc in the remaining 2 sts - join - finish off tones yarn. (12) sts

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Shawl

With Natural Tones yarn - ch 52 - loosely - turn - dc in the 4^th ch from hook.

R1: Dc in @ ch across - turn - ch 2. (50) sts

R2: Sc in @ st across - turn - ch 3.

R3: Dc in @ st across - finish off tones yarn.

Fringe

With Soft White yarn - cut 7 - 6" pieces of yarn. Divide @ 4-ply strand into 2-ply strands. With back of work facing - knot a 2-ply strand through @ loop across both short ends - trim.
