Dress

Starting at upper edge – with Cherry Red yarn – ch 22 - join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R3-ch 2. (22 dc)

R4: Working over an elastic circle at the same time - sc in @ st around - join - ch 3.

R5-R9: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. End of R9 - finish off red yarn.

Straps

Join Cherry Red yarn to upper center back st – ch 2 – sc in next 2 sts – ch 8 – skipping next 5 sts – sc in next 6 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the last 3 sts – join - finish off red yarn.

Tie-Top

With Dream Girl yarn - starting at the lower edge - ch 24 - join to form a circle - ch 3. [Center Front Opening]

R1: Dc in @ st across - do not join - turn - ch 3. (24) sts

R2: Dc in the next 3 sts - ch 5 - skipping the next 4 sts - dc in the next 8 sts - ch 5 - skipping the next 4 sts - dc in the remaining 4 sts - turn - ch 3.

R3: Dc in the next st - * dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next st * - repeat across - turn - ch 2. (18) sts

R4: Sc in the next st - *sc the next [2] sts together - sc in the next 2 sts * - repeat across - finish off dream yarn. (14) sts
