Sweater Set & Skirt

Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Plum Berry - Plum Heather - Dk Plum

4" piece of ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle

Skirt

Starting at center back seam - with Plum Berry yarn - ch 14 - turn - dc in 4^th ch from hook.

R1: Dc in @ st across - turn - ch 2 [Right side of work.] (12) sts

R2: Sc in @ st across - turn - ch 3.

R3-R16: Repeat R1-R2. End of R16 - fold Skirt with wrong side of work facing - sl st through scs of R16 & unused loops of beginning ch to end - ch 2.

With the right side of work facing - working over an elastic circle at the same time - sc in @ sc - 2 scs in @ dc row around - join - finish off plum berry yarn. (24) sts

Shell

With Plum Heather yarn - starting on lower edge - ch 13 - turn - dc in 4^th ch from hook.

R1-R5: Dc in @ st across - turn - ch 3. (11) sts

R6: Dc in the next 2 sts - ch 5 - skipping the next 5 sts - dc in the remaining 3 sts - turn - ch 3.

R7-R11: Dc in @ st across - turn - ch 3. End of R11 - drop heather yarn.

Side Seams - Fold Shell in half with wrong side of work facing - pick up heather yarn - sl st through both layers over the next 3 rows - finish off heather yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd side seam.

Lower Edge - Join Plum Heather yarn to lower side seam with a ch 2 - sc in @ st around =- join - finish off heather yarn.

Sleeves Bands - With front of work facing - join Dk Plum yarn to underarm seam with a ch 2 - sc in center of dc row - 2 scs in the next 3 dc rows - sc in center of last dc row - join - finish off dk plum yarn. (10) sts

Repeat for 2^nd sleeve.

Collar - With front of work facing - join Plum Heather yarn to the 1^st neck opening st with a ch 2 - sc in @ st across back - sc in center of shoulder dc row - sc in @ st across front - sc in center of 2^nd shoulder dc row - join - finish off heather yarn. (12) sts.

Trim - Join Dk Plum yarn to any neck st with a ch 2 - sc in @ st around - join - finish off heather yarn.

Sweater

With Plum Heather yarn - starting at lower edge - ch 26 - loosely - turn - dc in 4^th ch from hook.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st across - turn - ch 3. (24) sts

R4: Dc in the next 4 sts - ch 6 - skipping the next 2 sts - dc in the next 10 sts - ch 6 - skipping the next 2 sts - dc in the remaining 5 sts - turn - ch 2.

R5-R6: Dc in the next st - * dc the next [2] sts together * - repeat across - turn - ch 2. End of R6 - finish off heather yarn. (17) (9) sts

R7: Trim - Join Dk Plum yarn to the lower center back st with a ch 2 - sc in @ st around - working 3 scs in @ corner st - join - finish off dk plum yarn.

Sleeves

R1: Join Plum Heather yarn to center underarm st with a ch 3 - dc in @ st around - working 2 dcs in @ dc side rows - join - ch 3. (12) sts

R2: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3.

R3-R4: Dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the remaining sts - join - ch 3. End of R4 - finish off heather yarn.

R5: Trim - Join Dk Plum yarn to center underarm st with a ch 2 - sc in @ st around - join - finish off dk plum yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd sleeve.
