2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Blue - [Fiesta] Baby Pink

4" piece of ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle

Skirt

Starting at upper edge – with Blue yarn - ch 2 – working over an elastic circle – 21 scs – join – ch 3.

R1-R2: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R3-R5: Dc the next [2] sts together - dc in remaining sts - join - ch 3. (21)(20)(19) sts

R6: Dc in the next 11 sts - ch 3 - sl st into the next 2 sts - ch 3 - dc in the remaining 5 sts - join - finish off blue yarn.

Attach Bow to sl sts of R6.

Bow

With Baby Pink yarn - leaving a 3" thread - ch 4 - turn - join with a sl st to beginning ch - ch 4 - turn - join to the same ch - finish off leaving a 3" thread.

Top

With Baby Pink yarn - starting at lower edge - ch 22 - loosely - join to form a circle - ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. (22) sts

R4: Dc in the next 3 sts - ch 1 - skipping the next 4 sts - dc in the next 6 sts - ch 1 - skipping the next 4 sts - dc in the remaining 4 sts - join - ch 2. (16) sts

R5: Neckband - Hdc in @ st around - join to top of beginning ch 2.

R6: Sc in the next 3 sts - sc the next [2] sts together - sc in the next 4 sts - sc the next [2] sts together - sc in the remaining 4 sts - join - finish off pink yarn. (14) sts

R7: Waistband - Join Baby Pink yarn to lower center back st with a ch 2 - hdc in @ st around - join to top of beginning ch - ch 2. (22) sts

R8: Sc in @ st around - join - finish off pink yarn.

Hat

With Blue yarn –starting at crown - ch 3 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1: Work 9 dcs in circle – join – ch 2. (10) sts

R2: Sc in same space – 2 scs in @ st around – join – ch 2. (20) sts

R3: Working in back loops only - sc in @ st around - join - ch 3.

R4: Dc in same space - dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. (21) sts

R5: Working in front loops only - dc in same space - * dc in next 2 sts - 2 dcs in the next st * - repeat around - join - finish off blue yarn. (28) sts

R6: Hatband - With Baby Pink yarn - leaving a 3" thread - ch 22 - join to form a circle - finish off pink yarn - leaving a 3" thread.

Attach to center back of hat - between R4-R5. Trim all yarn ends.
