Ruffled Skirt & Top

Materials Needed:

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Aran – [Kid] Fruit Punch

4" – ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle.

Test Gauge: 4 rows = 2" x 8 sts = 2"

Starting at the upper edge with Fruit Punch yarn – ch 22 – join to form a circle – ch 2.

R1: Sc in @ st around – join – finish off fruit punch yarn. (22) sts

R2: Join Aran yarn to the lower center back st with a ch 3 - * dc in the next 6 sts – 2 dcs in the next st * - repeat around – join – ch 3. (25) sts

R3-R4: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R4 – ch 2.

R5: Sc in @ st around – join – finish off aran yarn.

R6: Bra Top – Join Aran yarn to the 7^th st from center back with a * ch 5 – holding the last loop of @ st – tr in the next 4 sts – work off all loops – ch 1 – finish off aran yarn * - repeat *---* in the next 5 sts.

Strap

Join Fruit Punch yarn to the upper center back st with a ch 2 – sc in the next st – ch 6 – skipping all st between – join to the top ch 1 of the 1^st bra cup with a sc – turn – work 4 scs evenly spaced down the 5^th st of cup – turn – dc in both joining sts – turn – work 4 scs evenly spaced up the begging ch of 2^nd bra cup – sc in ch 1 – ch 6 – skipping the next 4 sts – sc in the remaining 2 sts – join – finish off fruit punch yarn. (28) sts

Sleeve – Right Side

R1: Join Aran yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in the next st – dc in @ strap ch – dc in bra ch 1 – 2 dcs evenly spaced down tr st – dc in the remaining 2 sts – join – ch 3. (13) sts

R2-R4: Dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the remaining sts – join – ch 3. End of R4 – drop aran yarn. (12)(11)(10) sts

R5: Join Fruit Punch yarn to the underarm joining with a ch 2 – sc in @ st around – join – finish off fruit punch yarn.

R6: Picking up Aran yarn – join with a ch 4 – 2 trs in the next st – tr in the next st - * 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next st * - repeat 2 times total – 2 trs in the next st – tr in the next st – 2 trs in the remaining st – join – ch 2. (15) sts

R7: Sc in @ st around – join – finish off aran yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

With Aran yarn – ch 2 – working over an elastic circle at the same time – 21 scs – join – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R4-R5: Dc in the next st – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 15/13 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the remaining st – join – ch 5. (20)(18) sts

R6: Dc in the next 2 sts – hdc in the next 3 sts – sc in the next 2 sts – sl st through the next 2 sts – sc in the next 2 sts – hdc in the next 3 sts – dc in the remaining 3 sts – join – drop aran yarn.

R7: Join Fruit Punch yarn to the lower center back st with a ch 2 – sc in @ st around – join – finish off fruit punch yarn.

R8: Picking up Aran yarn – join with a ch 4 – tr in the same space – 2 trs in the next 4 sts – 2 dcs in the next 8 sts – 2 trs in the remaining 5 sts – join – ch 4. (36) sts
