Small amount of 4 Ply Yarn – Lilac – Tropical Fruit

4" – ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle.

Dress

Starting at the upper edge with Lilac yarn – ch 22 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1-R2: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R3: Working in the back loops only – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 5 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 2 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 5 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the remaining st – join – ch 2. (18) sts

R4: Working over an elastic circle at the same time – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R5: 2 Dcs in the next st – dc in the next 5 sts – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next 2 sts – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next 5 sts – dc in the remaining st – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R6-R10: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R10 – finish off lilac yarn.

Straps

R1: Join Lilac yarn to the upper center back st with a ch 2 – sc in the next 2 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the next 6 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the remaining 3 sts – join.

R2: * Skipping the next st – 3 dcs in the next st – skipping the next 2 sts – sc in the next st * - repeat 2 times total – skipping the next st - 3 dcs in the next st – skipping the next st – sc in the next st – repeat *---* 2 times total – skipping the next st – 3 dcs in the next st – skipping the remaining 2 sts – join – finish off lilac yarn. Popover Trim

R1: Join Lilac yarn to the center back unused loop of dress R3 with a ch 3 – working in the unused loops only – dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (13) sts

R2: 2 Dcs in the same space – * skipping the next st – sc in the next st – 3 dcs in the next st * - repeat around to last st – sc in the remaining st – join – finish off lilac yarn. (6) shells

Sleeves

R1: Join Lilac yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (13) sts

R2: Dc the next [2] sts together – dc in @ st around – join – ch 2. (12) sts

R3: * Skipping the next st – 3 dcs in the next st – skipping the next st – sc in the next st * - repeat around – join – finish off lilac yarn. (3) shells

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Hat

With Tropical Fruit yarn – starting at the crown – ch 3 – join to form a circle – ch 2.

R1: Work 9 scs in the center of the circle – join – ch 3. (10) sts

R2: Dc in the same space – 2 dcs in @ st around – join – ch 2. (20) sts

R3: Sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R4: Work in the front loops only - * 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next st * - repeat around – join. (30) sts

R5: With the wrong side of work facing – ch 2 – working in the back loops only – sc in @ st around – join – finish off tropical yarn.

Roll Brim back on front of work.
