4" – ¼" Elastic – sewn into a circle.

With Orchid yarn – starting at the upper edge - ch 22 - join to form a circle - ch 3.

R1: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R2: Working in the back loops only – dc in the next 7 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 2 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the remaining 8 sts – join – ch 3. (20) sts

R3: Dc in the next 6 sts - dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 2 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the remaining 7 sts – join – ch 2. (18) sts

R4: Working over an elastic circle at the same time – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R5: Dc in the next st – 2 dcs in the next sts – dc in the next 12 sts – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the remaining 2 sts – join – ch 3. (20) sts

R6-R9: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R10: * Skipping the next sts – sc – ch 1 in the next st * - repeat around – join – finish off orchid yarn.

R11: Join Oceans yarn to the lower center back st with a ch 3 - * working over the ch 1 of previous row – dc in the unused st of R9 – sc in sc of R10 * - repeat around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R12: * Sc in the next st – dc in the next st * - repeat around – join – finish off oceans yarn.

Strap

Join Orchid yarn to the upper center back st with a ch 2 – sc in the next 2 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the next 6 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the remaining 3 sts – join – finish off orchid yarn.

Over-Bodice Trim

R13: Join Orchid yarn to the center back unused loop of R1 with a ch 3 - * skipping the next st – sc – ch 1 in the unused loop * - repeat around – join – finish off orchid yarn.

R14: Join Oceans yarn to the lower center back st with a ch 3 - * working over the ch 1 of previous row – dc in the unused loop of R1 – sc in sc of R13 * - repeat around – join – ch 3. (22) sts

R15: * Sc in the next st – dc in the next st * - repeat around – join – finish off oceans yarn.

Sleeves

R1: Join Orchid yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. (13) sts

R2-R3: Dc the next [2] sts together – dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R3 – ch 2. (12)(11) sts

R6: Sc in @ st around – join – finish off orchid yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

With Orchid yarn – ch 12 – turn – sc in the 3^rd ch from hook.
