Ribbed Hi-Neck Sweater / Skirt

Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Spruce - Sugar & Spice - Buff

4" of 1/4" Elastic - Sewn into a circle

Sweater

With Spruce yarn - working side-to-side - ch 9 - turn - sc in 3^rd ch from hook.

R1: Sc in @ ch across - turn - ch 2. (8) sts

R2: Working in the back loops only - sc in @ sc across - turn - ch 2.

R3-R6: Repeat R2. End of R6 - ch 7 turn.

R7: Working in back side of chain - sc in 3^rd ch from hook - sc in next 4 chs - working in back loops only - sc in remaining sts - turn - ch 2. (14) sts

R8: Repeat R2 - ch 3 - turn.

R9: Working in back side of chin - sc in 3^rd ch from hook - working in back loops only - sc in remaining 14 sts - turn - ch 2. (16) sts

R10-R12: Repeat R2. End of R12 - ch 1 - turn.

R13: Sl st through next 2 sts - ch 2 - working in back loops only - sc in @ remaining st - turn - ch 2. (14) sts

R14: Repeat R2 - ch 1 - turn.

R15: Sl st though next 6 sts - ch2 - working in back loops only - sc in @ remaining st - turn- ch 2. (8) sts

R16-R19: Repeat R2.

R20-R21: Repeat R6-R7.

R22-R27: Repeat R8-R14.

R28: Sl st through the next 6 sts - ch 1 - [join side seams] - with right side of work facing - holding both side edges together - sl st through all side sts + all unused loops of begining ch - finish off spruce yarn. (8) sts

Join Shoulder seams - With wrong side of work facing - sl st through both shoulder edges together. Repeat for 2^nd shoulder. Trim all yarn ends.

Skirt

Staring a upper edge with Sugar & Spice yarn - ch 2 - 21 scs over an elastic circle - join - ch 3. (22) sts

R1-R7: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. End of R7 - finish off sugar & spice yarn.

Bag

R1: With Buff yarn - starting at lower edge of bag - ch 7 - turn - 2 scs in the 3^rd ch from hook - sc in the next 2 chs - 3 scs in the end ch - turn - working in unused loops of same ch - sc in the next 2 chs - join to beginning ch - ch 3. (10) sts

R2: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 2.

R3: Sc in @ st around - [Handle] ch 6 - join to center st of opposite side - finish off buff yarn.
