With Oxford Rose yarn - starting at upper edge – ch 22 – join to form a circle - ch 3.

R2-R3: Dc in the next 7 /6 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 2 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the remaining 8 / 7 sts – join – ch 2. (20)(18) sts

R4: Sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R5-R6: Dc in the next st – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next 12 / 14 sts – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the remaining sts – join – ch 3. (20)(22) sts

R7-R10: Dc in @ st around – join - ch 3. End of R10 – ch 2.

R11: Sc in @ st around – join – finish off rose yarn.

Straps

R1: Join Oxford Rose yarn to the upper center back st with a ch 2 – sc in the next st – dc in the next st - ch 6 – skipping the next 5 sts – dc in the next st - sc in the next 4 sts - dc in the next st – ch 6 – skipping in the next 5 sts – dc in the next st - sc in the remaining 2 sts – join – finish off rose yarn.

Sweater

With Bright Pink yarn – starting at the lower edge – ch 26 – turn – dc in the 4^th ch from hook.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st across – turn – ch 3. (24) sts

R4: Dc in the next 4 sts – ch 6 – skipping the next 2 sts – dc in the next 10 sts – ch 6 – skipping the next 2 sts – dc in the remaining 5 sts – turn – ch 3.

R5-R6: * Dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next st * - repeat across – turn – ch 3. End of R6 – ch 2. (23)(15) sts

R7: Trim – [Note: this is the wrong side of work.] - 2 scs in the same space – working in the back loops only in the 13 neck edge sts - sc – 3 scs in the corner st – turn – work 2 scs in @ row down front edge opening – (11) sts – 3 scs in the corner st – turn – sc in the next 22 lower edge sts – 3 scs in the corner st – turn – 2 scs in @ row up front edge opening - (11) sts – join to beginning ch.
