Decorated Collar Dress

Materials Needed:

Size 00 Crochet Hook

2 oz. 4 Ply Yarn – Hunter Green - (Optional) - [Fiesta] Light Sage

[Optional] 1 - 10mm Bead

4" of ¼" elastic – sewn into a circle

Dress

With Hunter Green yarn - starting at upper edge – ch 24 – join to form a circle - ch 2.

R1: Sc in @ st around - join - ch 3. (24) sts

R2: Dc in the next 4 sts - ch 4 - skipping the next 2 sts - dc in the next 10 sts - ch 4 - skipping the next 2 sts - dc in the remaining 5 sts - join - ch 3. (28) sts

R3: Dc in the next 5 sts - dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next 12 sts - dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the remaining 6 sts - join - ch 3. (26) sts

R4: Dc in the next st - dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next 6 sts - dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next 2 sts - dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the next 7 sts - dc the next [2] sts together - dc in the last st - join - ch3. (22) sts

R5: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 2.

R6: Working over an elastic circle – at the same time - sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R7: Dc in the same space - 2 dcs in @ st - repeat around – join – ch 3. (44) sts

R8-R12: Dc in @ st around - join - ch 3. End of R12 - ch 4.

R13: * Skipping the next st - [sc - ch 3] in the next st * - repeat around - join - finish off yarn.

Collar

R1: With wrong side of work facing - join Hunter Green yarn to unused loop of the 5^th beginning ch with a ch 1 - sc in the next 5 sts - dc in the next 2 sts - 2 trs in the next st - tr in the next st - dc in the next 2 sts - sc in the next 2 sts - sl st into the next st - finish off yarn. Attach Bead to the center tr with a 3" thread. Trim all yarn ends.

(2^nd Option)

Using Light Sage yarn - wrap 5 times around a 1 1/2" piece of cardboard - using a 4" thread - tie tightly around upper loops - trim lower loops. With a 2^{nd -} 4" thread - tie tightly around all loops - 1/4" below 1^st tie - trim all ends. Attach to the center of tr st of collar.

Sleeves

R1: Join Hunter Green yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 - working 9 dcs evenly spaced around armhole opening - join - ch 3. (10) sts

R2: Dc in @ st around - join - finish off green yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve
