Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

Small amount of 4 Ply Yarn – Buff - Black

¼" Elastic - 4" long - sewn into a circle

Dress

Starting at upper edge - with Buff yarn – ch 22 – join to form a circle.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st across – ch 3 – turn. End of R3 – ch 2. (22 dc)

R4: Working over an elastic circle at the same time – sc in @ st around – join – ch 3.

R5-R10: Dc in @ st around – join – ch 3. End of R10 – finish of buff yarn.

Upper Ruffle

R1: Working between sts – join Black yarn around row join of R7 / R8 with a ch 4 - * [sc – ch 3] around row joining * - repeat between @ st – join – sl st into the center of 1^st ch 4 loop – ch 5. (22) loops

R2: * Working in the center of next ch 3 loop – [sc – ch 4] * - repeat around – join – finish off black yarn.

Lower Ruffle

Repeat R1-R2 of Upper Ruffle – between st and around joining of R9 / R 10.

Straps

R1: With Buff yarn - join to upper center back st – ch 2 – sc in next 2 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in the next 6 sts – ch 8 – skipping the next 5 sts – sc in remaining 3 sts – join – finish off buff yarn.

R2: With the upper edge of Strap R1 facing – join Black yarn to the 1^st ch with a ch 3 – [sc – ch 2] in the next 6 chs – join into remaining ch with a sl st – finish off black yarn.

Repeat R2 across 2^nd Strap chain.

Hairband

With Buff yarn – ch 20 – join to form a circle – ch 3.

R1: Dc in @ st around – join – finish off buff yarn. (20) sts

R2: Working between @ st – join Black yarn with a ch 3 – [sc – ch 2] between @ st around – join – finish off black yarn.
