Skirt with Jacket

Materials Needed:

Size E Crochet Hook

2 Ounces of 4 Ply Yarn – Lavender - [Kids] Lime

4"of 1/4" Elastic – sewn into a circle.

Jacket

With Lime yarn – starting at the lower edge – ch 26 – turn – dc in 4^th ch from hook.

R1-R2: Dc in @ ch across – join – ch 3. (26) sts

R3-R4: Dc in the next 4 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next 10 / 8 sts – dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the remaining 5 sts – join – ch 3. (22)(20) sts

R5: 2 Dcs in the next st – dc in the next 2 sts – ch 6 – skipping the next 2 sts – dc in the next st – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next 4 sts – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the next st – ch 6 – skipping the next 2 sts – dc in the next 2 sts – 2 dcs in the next st – dc in the remaining st – join – ch 2. (34) sts

R6-R7: Dc in the next 2 sts - * dc the next [2] sts together – dc in the next st * - repeat across to the last 2 sts – (R6: - sc the remaining [2] sts together – (R7: - dc in the next st – hdc in remaining st – do not join – turn – ch 2. End of R7 – ch 0. (21)(14)

R8: Collar - Working in front loops only – sl st into 1^st st – sc in next st – 2 scs in @ of the next 9 sts – sc in the next st – sl st into the remaining st – sl st into the top of st on row below – finish off yarn.

Neck Trim – Join Lavender yarn to the right side of neck opening on R5 with a ch 1 – work 5 scs evenly spaced to collar – hdc in the next 17 sts – work 5 scs evenly spaced down front opening to beginning ch – ch 2 – finish off yarn – draw thread through to wrong side of work – crossing over top of beginning ch – finish off yarn – trim ends.

Lower Trim & Buttons– With upper edge of work facing – join Lavender yarn to the joining space on R1 – right side – with a ch 1 – sc in the next 2 chs – sc in the next st – hdc in the next 20 sts – sc in the next st – sc in the next 2 chs – finish off yarn – leaving a 10" thread - draw thread through to wrong side of work crossing over top of beginning ch – secure. [Buttons] - * working loosely – draw thread through to front of work on 1^st st of row above – cross over and draw through to wrong side of work on last st of same row – 2 times * - repeat in next 2 rows – secure thread – trim end.

Sleeves

R1: Join Lime yarn to the center underarm st with a ch 3 – dc in the center of Jacket dc – dc in the next 6 sts – dc in the center of Jacket dc – dc in the remaining st – join – ch 3. (10) sts

R2-R4: Dc in @ remaining st – join – ch 3. End of R4 – finish off yarn.

R5: Trim – Join Lavender yarn with a ch 2 – hdc in @ st around – join – finish off yarn.

Repeat for 2^nd Sleeve.

Skirt

With Lime yarn – ch 2 – working over an elastic circle at the same time – 23 scs – join – ch 3.

R1-R3: Dc in @ st around –join – ch 3. (24) sts
